This is the 4th time I have used El Cheapo movers over the last 14 years and I have never been dissapointed. I find their rates very reasonable for the quality of service provided. Gary and Dymitro were amazing - so fast, SO strong, friendly and courteous. I was very stressed before they came and it was such a relief for them to take charge and get it done. Very appreciative and highly recommend.

Wishing it were possible to give more than five stars, because that’s what the folks at El Cheapo deserve. Gary and Ethan helped with my move and stayed within the exact estimate—they were extremely efficient and so pleasant to deal with. Coordinating with Jeff and the team prior to moving day was also straightforward. A+ all around. Will definitely use them the next time I move, but in the meantime, will keep recommending them!

I hired them for a move and they were so fast! I had John and Ach (Ash) and they were so kind! I definitely recommend them for anyone living in the city. Fast, reliable, AND affordable. Not like other companies who were quoting me $700+ for a move that wouldn't take more than one hour...

This is the second time I’ve used El Cheapo, and I wasn’t disappointed. Gary, Ethan and Kevin did a double move for us. They were speedy, careful and friendly. To move two places within 4 hours and under $1000 is amazing. I will only use El Cheapo. 🙏🏼

We had a wonderful experience and will use them again! From the initial interaction with the admin/intake - customer service, clear communication, transparent pricing - they nailed it all! The gentleman movers, can’t remember their names, were wonderful: Super kind, great communication and very efficient. They did not take even a moment for themselves. We appreciate their ability to book us last minute, we called the day before the planned move to schedule and luckily, they had an opening in the afternoon.
We not only would recommend the service, but we intend to use it ourselves in the future!
Thanks el cheapo team!

Such an easy and friendly experience! The movers were FAST, yet carefully wrapped our furniture (which was very appreciated). They improvised to get a piece of furniture up over our balcony, which was also very much appreciated. Would 1000% recommend

Great experience. Gary, Ethan, Alex and John were all hardworking and super careful with my furniture. They were efficient and accurate when they disassembled and reassembled all the beds and dining room table. All done within the budget they quoted. Highly recommend and will use them again if needed.

Gary, Kevin, and Julien were absolutely incredible. The speed, care, and focus with which they approached moving our two places into one made my partner and I feel completely comfortable after months of building up to this point. They helped make what could have been a very stressful day into a memorable one. We can’t recommend them enough.

I was extremely pleased with the services El Cheapo Movers provided.
The two men that came that morning were awsome.
Gary and Dymitro were on time, communication thru out the move was excellent.
Took care of all items as it was their own items. Worked totally efficently.
Their happy personalities were appreciated by me, to make the move without any issues at all and pressures of moving were eliminated.
Just to let you know that you have two great people representing your company.
I will be calling you if I need your services in the future.

Setting up the move was easy - their inventory list of items could use an update but making changes was very easy and all of the office staff I spoke to were very friendly and helpful.
As for the movers themselves, Alex and his associate went above and beyond on the day of our move. Kind, considerate, and efficient - they made every effort to lessen our stress and made sure every item was handled with care. I would recommend them to anyone!

We were so impressed and grateful for El Cheapo! They made our move so stress free and quick! They made us feel comfortable and we’re very careful with our things. Alex, Dmytro, and Chris were an amazing team. Thank you boys! And thank you El Cheapo for offering such a reasonable and wonderful service. There were able to do our move in a fraction of the time quoted to us by other companies. We definitely recommend them over any other movers!!!

We used El Cheapo Movers for our move in October 2025 and it was the best money I’ve ever spent. Alex & Amin were fantastic - Punctual and gave us regular updates leading up to their arrival, professional, kind and personable, delicate with our personal belongings, and QUICK! We didn’t move far, but our whole move was completed in 2 hours! The cost was a fraction of what I had budgeted to spend. I would 100% recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a stress free move. Thank you so much again for your help!

I just used El Cheapo for my move and if I could give more than 5 stars I would. From coordinating with their office to the movers on-site, everything was such an amazing experience. They made me feel so taken care of, which is so rare today. Thank you to Gary, Jonathan and Alex for truly being the best people and completing my move in 1-hour…crazy! They were so efficient, fast, but careful with all of my belongings. I recommend them for any move and will 100% be using them for any move I have in the future.

We used El Cheapo Movers for our recent move, and honestly, they made the whole thing so much easier than we expected. The crew showed up right on time, super friendly and easy to talk to. They worked fast but still took good care of our stuff — no scratches, no stress.
The whole move felt organized and smooth, and the price was totally fair for the quality of service.
If you’re looking for movers who actually care and don’t overcharge, I’d definitely recommend El Cheapo

We hired El Cheapo primarily because of the 1hr minimum, compared to 2-4 hr minimums elsewhere. We were moving from Toronto to Windsor and needed to be out ASAP and wanted to hire an extra mover to get the job done more quickly. We hired them for load-only help in Toronto as we were driving our own u-haul.
Dmitry, Dmitry and another kind gentleman I didn’t get the name of were there early and prepared. They moved quickly, efficiently and did a great job packing the truck. The team in Windsor actually said how impressed they were with how well everything was packed. We rented a 26’ truck but could have gotten away with a 20’ truck based on how well they packed it.
They did a great job, but they also were all lovely people. I’d hire El Cheapo again just because of that.

Just finished our moving day with El Cheapo and cannot be more pleased with our experience!! Gary and Jonathan were our movers and from the moment they were 15 minutes away to when they arrived, they were professional, organized, and efficient. They definitely knew what they were doing and were so quick and decisive with their every move. Not to mention that they were friendly and respectful.
Our move exceeded our estimated time at booking, but they still hustled. Can’t thank them enough for their work today and would definitely hire them again!!
Thank you!

I have used El Cheapo twice in the past 5 years. They are inexpensive (as the name suggests) but they do not sacrifice on quality, safety, or speed. My moves have been performed by consummate professionals who treated my possessions with great care. I highly recommend El Cheapo to anyone looking for transparent pricing and excellent service.

El Cheapo Movers proved themselves exceptional under pressure. I contacted them at the very last minute, and they responded with remarkable professionalism and skill. The team wrapped and moved everything efficiently, packing both their truck and my storage unit with precision and strategic organization … truly a Tetris-level feat!
What stood out most was their ability to take charge without direction, transforming what could have been a stressful day into seamless, flawless progress. I will absolutely call them again and recommend them to anyone seeking movers who combine efficiency, expertise, and reliability.
A heartfelt thank you to El Cheapo Movers! You handled everything with such skill and care, and truly made one of my most challenging days remarkably smooth.

I’ve moved twice with el cheapo movers and have been SO impressed with them! They are efficient and professional both on the phone and email to set up and then the movers themselves are fantastic- careful with items hard working, really great staff! I also love that they are very honest- they bill on the quarter hour rather than the half or full hour which is so much more fair. I’ve been very impressed with their service and while I never want to move again ( who does?) I would definitely use them again because they make it so much easier!

These guys are great! John and Igor were super friendly and professional. They managed to move our entire 1 bedroom apartment in one trip. There were a few larger/tricky items that they managed to maneuver effortlessly which made the whole experience stress free. I would definitely hire these guys again!

Second time using El Cheapo for a big move. Couldn't be more satisfied. Great communication from dispatch to movers, with confirmation email a few days before the move. Transparent time-based pricing which was very close to the initial quote. Alex and his team were on time, quick and professional. Clearly took pride in their work and took good care of my items. Highly recommend!

I am an international student who has to move quite frequently, but El Cheapo movers make the process a lot less stressful. Milan and Gary were so helpful and very nice! They managed to perfectly place everything in my storage unit- which was a relief. I genuinely appreciate their help every time, I highly recommend!

Yesterday, we had two large, heavy shelves and a stereo moved by El Cheap Movers (great name!) moved from our home to our daughter’s over an hour away. The two gentlemen who did this for us were friendly, efficient and able to share a joke. The pieces were handled carefully, carried down two steep flights of stairs and put onto the truck in the rain with no complaints. My daughter’s experience at the other end was the same, and she called to say how nice they were and what a good job they did. When I checked my credit card statement this morning, the bill was less than I had expected, a nice surprise. I would not hesitate to use this company again if the need should arise.

This was the smoothest, fastest move of my life.
The online booking process was very smooth. When I needed to call to confirm my move the staff were friendly and helpful.
Alex, Milan, and Ben got to my old place at 8:50am and I was moved into my new home 10:20am. Literally 90 minutes flat. I had a very packed second floor unit with a narrow stairwell and nothing stopped these gentlemen moving me.
All of my things arrived in good condition and the price was very affordable.
Based on my experience I cannot recommend El Cheapo highly enough and will be using them for all my moves in the future.

We have always moved using El Cheapo. We had a pretty big move this time, from two storage locations in Mississauga and into our new house around Bloor and Dufferin. Show up on time. Guys did a great job. No task is too big or too small.

I've relied on El Cheapo several times over the past few years, and they've consistently impressed me with their speed, efficiency, and reasonable pricing. In our most recent move, they handled the entire process—from loading to unloading a two-bedroom condo from Oakville to downtown Toronto—in just three hours. This included navigating the Gardiner during major lane reductions as well.
While I'm not planning to move again anytime soon, El Cheapo is my go-to recommendation for anyone in need of reliable moving services. Great job, as always!

I have used El Cheapo for 4 moves now and every time I am beyond happy with the service they provide. The circumstances of this last move made me a nervous wreck and the guys were understanding, kind and professional the whole time. The office staff were also understanding and kind when I had to change the date of the move at the last minute. I'd like to give a special shout out to Narjes, who promptly sent me a replacement receipt when I could find the original. You will not go wrong booking El Cheapo for your next move!

El Cheapo Movers were friendly, accessible, and made my first time using movers in Toronto a breeze. I never felt uncomfortable—the two movers were quick, courteous, and professional. They took great care in preparing my furniture and items to be safe during transit and then ensured that all heavy items were placed exactly where they needed to be before leaving the job.
El Cheapo's pricing was the most affordable quote from the various Toronto moving companies I contacted. Plus, every team member I spoke with was polite and helpful. I definitely recommend El Cheapp to anyone who needs to move!

I was very pleased with the move provided to me by El Cheapo Movers. Artem and his fellow movers were polite and very helpful. They moved the boxes and furniture at a good pace and were very careful and businesslike. You could tell that they really wanted to make the moving experience the best ever for me. They were very concerned about being very careful. The price was fair for all the work done and I was so pleased with the results. I would recommend El Cheapo Movers to anyone; no regrets, by far!
